realme 13 Pro+ 5G and realme 13 Pro 5G, Launched in India

realme today launched four products in their smartphone & AIOT portfolio in India – realme 13 Pro Series 5G, realme Watch S2 and realme Buds T310. The realme 13 Pro Series 5G, includes two models: the realme 13 Pro+ 5G and realme 13 Pro 5G. Both the phones sport a 6.7-inch (2412×1080 pixels) Full HD+ curved AMOLED screen with 120Hz refresh rate, 2160Hz PWM dimming and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i protection. Both the phones run Android 14 with realme UI 5.0 on top.

The realme 13 Pro+ 5G features an industry-first dual Sony main camera system. The primary camera, the Sony LYT-701, is a 50MP OIS camera with a large 1/1.56” sensor, and will be ideal low-light photography capabilities. Complementing the main camera is the Sony LYT-600, a 50MP periscope telephoto camera equipped with 3x optical zoom. This camera is designed to elevate portrait photography by offering improved image quality and an optimal 73mm focal length. The in-sensor zoom technology allows users to switch seamlessly between 3x and 6x zoom, providing flexibility in capturing shots. The Sony LYT-701 OIS Camera has large sensor and OIS support.

The realme 13 Pro+ 5G is equipped with the industry’s first AI photography architecture – the realme HYPERIMAGE+ Camera System. This three-layer architecture combines flagship optics, on-device AI imaging algorithms, and cloud-based AI image editing to significantly enhance image clarity and dynamic range. The result is authentic light and shadow representation with true-to-life results. The realme 13 Pro+ 5G also introduces advanced functions such as AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone, and AI Ultra Clarity, setting new standards for portrait photography. These features are powered by large-scale AI models, enhancing resolution and clarity of blurry images, and providing efficient use of AI on mobile devices. One standout feature is the AI Smart Removal mode, which allows users to remove unwanted bystanders or objects from photos with a single click. Another function is the AI Group Photo Enhance, which ensures clear facial details in group photos, even for those located at the edge or in the back row. The AI Ultra Clarity feature uses AI capabilities to enhance the resolution and increase the clarity of blurry images, especially when using the ultra-telephoto (10X to 30X) on the smartphone. Moreover, the realme 13 Pro+ 5G offers a comprehensive AI imaging experience with features like AI Audio Zoom.

The realme 13 Pro+ 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 5G Chipset. The chipset’s 8-core 64-bit processor reaches up to 683k+ AnTuTu benchmark (12+512GB). Dual-channel network acceleration enhances Wi-Fi and 5G connectivity for faster, more stable internet. The phone houses a 5200mAh battery that supports 80W SUPERVOOC Charge, charging to 50% in just 19 minutes and fully in 49 minutes.

The realme 13 Pro 5G is armed wi 50MP Sony LYT-600 main camera. This camera features a large 1/95″ sensor and a 26mm equivalent focal length, coupled with an f/1.88 aperture. The setup is further enhanced by OIS and 2X ISZ support, which significantly improves image quality, enabling the capture of high dynamic range daylight photos and clear, bright, and pure nighttime photos. To elevate the photography experience, the realme 13 Pro 5G employs the AI HyperRAW Algorithm. This algorithm performs light and shadow calculations based on the original image data in the RAW domain, effectively enhancing the purity of the image and restoring true light and shadow with smooth transitions. Moreover, the AI Portrait Algorithm accurately identifies the foreground, midground, and background of the scene, as well as the subject being photographed. It performs pixel-level segmentation and applies targeted algorithm optimization and processing. Based on AI-trained image recognition, it optimizes skin tones, ensuring that each portrait photo is as perfect as possible. 

The realme 13 Pro 5G also boasts a series of advanced functions like AI Pure Bokeh, AI Natural Skin Tone, and AI Ultra Clarity, setting a new standard for portrait photography. These features are based on the powerful capabilities of large-scale AI models, providing efficient uses of AI on mobile devices. AI Ultra Clarity leverages these AI models to enhance resolution and increase the clarity of blurry images, especially those captured above 10X on the smartphone.

Both the phones are also equipped with 32MP front camera with f/2.45 aperture.

The realme 13 Pro 5G is powered by the Snapdragon 7s Gen 2 5G Chipset, built on a 4nm process. The 8-core processor, consisting of 4 ARM Cortex-A78 cores and 4 ARM Cortex-A55 cores, works in tandem with the Adreno 710 GPU. To ensure optimal performance even during heavy usage, the realme 13 Pro features a 9-layer cooling system. This includes a large 4500mm² tempered VC and a 9953mm² graphite layer. These components work together to dissipate heat effectively, reducing the temperature of the device and providing a comfortable, cool user experience.

The realme 13 Pro 5G comes with IP65 Dust and Water Resistance rating and also boasts Swiss SGS 5 stars Drop resistance, this means it can endure drops from a maximum height of 1.65 meters onto granite ground from all six sides and corners. 

The realme 13 Pro 5G features the Rainwater Smart Touch technology which uses scanned data to differentiate between water and hand touch on the screen and allows users to operate their smartphones normally even with wet hands. The realme 13 Pro 5G is packed with a 45W SUPERVOOC Charge feature combined with a massive 5200mAh battery.

Both the phones have In-display fingerprint sensor and offer connectivity options of GPS/ GLONASS/ Beidou, USB Type-C 5G, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz) and Bluetooth 5.2.
