vivo today launched the T4R 5G, the newest addition to its T portfolio series. The smartphone is the slimmest quad curved display smartphone1 with industry-leading water & dust Protection2 – IP68 and IP69 ratings.
vivo T4R 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 7400 5G chipset, built on a 4nm process. It comes with with up to 12 GB of RAM and an additional 12 GB of Extended RAM, and upto 256GB of intermnal storage. It features Ultra Game Mode, which optimizes system resources and blocks distractions for an uninterrupted gaming experience. The smartphone packs a Large Graphite Cooling Area to keep heating in check during longer phone usage, minimising risks of overheating. This phone is packed with 5700mAh Battery with 44W Fast Charging Support.
The vivo T4R 5G comes with IP68 and IP69 ratings and offers resistance to water and dust. It is further certified with MIL-STD-810H military-grade durability, SGS Five-Star Drop Resistance, and comes with Diamond Shield Glass Protection on the front display. Measuring just 0.73 cm, the vivo T4R 5G sports 6.77″ Quad-Curved AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate. It also features SGS Low Blue Light and 2160 Hz PWM dimming, ensuring safer and more comfortable viewing for long durations.
On the photography front, the T4R 5G is armed with 32MP front camera supporting 4K video recording and is ideal for selfies, vlogs, and live streaming. On the rear, a 50MP Sony IMX882 sensor with OIS and Studio Quality Aura Light ensures sharp, steady images—even in low light. Its underwater photography mode lets users capture unique moments, whether in the pool or at the beach.
vivo T4R 5G incorporates a suite of smart AI tools that elevate user productivity. Features like AI Documents, Circle to Search, AI Note Assist, AI Screen Translation, and AI Transcript Assist simplify tasks and save time. Users can also refine their photos using AI Erase 2.0 and Photo Enhance.
The vivo T4R 5G runs on Funtouch 15 based on Android 15 and comes with 2 years of OS updates and 3 years of security patches.
The vivo T4R 5G is priced at INR 17,499 for the 8 GB + 128 GB variant, INR 19,499 for the 8 GB + 256 GB variant, and INR 21,499 for the 12 GB + 256 GB variant. It comes in two color variants – Arctic White and Twilight Blue. The smartphone will go on sale starting August 5, 2025, across Flipkart, vivo India e-store, and select partner retail stores.
