LG has launched its new LG Stylus 2 smartphone in India, which is the enhanced sequel to the G4 Stylus, and which was unveiled at MWC 2016. The new handset shares many of premium features available on LG’s flagship models but also includes a pen with a nano-coated tip for more accuracy compared to the previous rubber-tipped pen.
LG Stylus 2 is priced Rs. 19,500 and will be available in India from 18th May. This phone will be available in Titan, White and Brown colors.
LG Stylus 2’s Pen comes with various features such as Pen Pop, which toggles a popup menu when the stylus is removed to offer shortcuts to Pop Memo and Pop Scanner. The other significant feature is Pen Keeper, which prevents the stylus from being misplaced by displaying a popup message when the phone is detected as being in motion when the stylus bay is empty. Moreover, the new Calligraphy Pen font allows to write with ease as if using a fountain pen.
From the hardware perspective, the LG Stylus 2 sports a 5.7-inch In-Cell display with resolution of 720×1280 pixels. It is powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon processor paired with 2GB of LPDDR3 RAM and 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be extended upto 2TB via microSD card.This is Dual-SIM device and supports two Micro-SIMs.
The Stylus 2 is equipped with a 13 MP rear camera with CMOS sensor, and also comes with an 8 MP front camera. It is packed with removable 3000mAh battery. This phone runs on the latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
The other highlight of the Stylus 2 is that it supports 4G LTE as well as VoLTE – voice over LTE. It also offers other connectivity options of 3G, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.1, and Micro-USB etc..
This phone has dimensions of 155×79.6×7.4mm and its weight is 145 grams.
