The company will release the tablet computer based on Microsoft Corp’s new version of its Windows software (the Windows 8) and Intel’s technology (Chipset),”.
Windows 8 which is yet to be released, will be ideal for touch screen tablets and for enterprise applications. Currently, Windows 7 is not tuned for touch screen and Android applications are not tuned for enterprises applications in a way they should be.
Microsoft is set to unveil the beta version of the Windows 8 mobile operating system in the consumer preview event in Barcelona. It will only then be known how the enterprises and the consumers take to this new OS and that will decide how much success HP can have with this tablet.
