Dell today announced the availability of Alienware 16X Aurora, Alienware 16 Area-51 with OLED display and Alienware 18 Area-51 which were unveiled globally at CES 2026.
The Alienware 16 Area-51 and Alienware 16X Aurora feature premium anti-glare OLED panels. These panels address one of the most common pain points gamers face with OLED — glare and reflections in bright environments. All three notebooks (16X Aurora, 16 Area-51, 18 Area-51) feature new Intel Core Ultra 290HX Plus processors and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 50 Series GPUs.
Alienware 16X Aurora
The Alienware 16X Aurora is powered by the latest Intel Core Ultra Plus processors, paired with up to NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 Ti Laptop GPUs which makes it capable of handling demanding games and multitasking with ease. It comes with 16-inch OLED display with a 240Hz refresh rate and an ultra-fast 0.2ms response time. It offers vibrant colors, true blacks and rich detail with up to 120% DCI-P3 color volume featuring HDR True Black 500 certification and 620 nits HDR peak luminance. The Alienware 16X Aurora incorporates a newly engineered Cryo-Chamber cooling architecture that directs airflow efficiently, improving thermal management.
The laptop also features Alienware’s Stealth Mode, which can be activated with a single press of the F7 key. This instantly changes the system from an immersive gaming setup to quieter fan acoustics, white keyboard backlighting when they want to focus on non-gaming tasks.
Its fluid contours make the 16X Aurora easy to pick up and carry. A night sky-inspired custom color called Interstellar Indigo in a satin finish with iridescent badge evokes a futuristic cosmic feel.

The Area-51 tier systems are engineered with innovation for the ultimate gaming experience. This Total Performance Power (TPP) can reach up to 240W in Alienware 16 Area-51 and up to 280W in Alienware 18 Area-51. With more power provided to the silicon components, gamers can seamlessly run their games on the highest settings.
The Alienware 16 Area-51 features a 16-inch WQXGA Anti-Glare OLED panel with a 240Hz refresh rate, ultra-fast 0.2ms response time. The Alienware 18 Area-51 focuses on maximum gaming performance with an expansive 18-inch QHD+WQXGA display running at up to 300Hz refresh rate and 3ms response time.
