This phone is priced at Rs. 36,999 and will have to compete with Samsung’s Galaxy S III as far as price is concerned. Samsung is very popular brand for Android smartphones and if one has to shell out Rs. 37,000 then his or her first choice would be Galaxy S III. Only the coming days and months will tell us how Sony’s Xperia ion is received in price sensitive market like India. Probably, Sony wants to test the water at above price and if not very successful, they might reduce the price a little bit.
