Such is the huge fan following of Apple devices that people especially in US,Japan,Austrailia,Canada,China and in some European countires are crazy about iPhones despite its high-price and not much innovation in new devices.
Just imagine, what will happen when this device comes to India and in some other Asian countries, which have fetish for gold and believe me its golden colored iPhone 5S will be difficult to find for first few weeks and there are chances that some ingenious retailers may sell it at premium especially in India.
The primary reason for demand for golden color is that the new owners of iPhone 5S want to show that they are possessing latest iPhone 5S which has almost same design as of iPhone 5 and golden color is the new color added by Apple in its latest iPhone.
The iPhone 5S has screen size of 4 inch with retina display. The size of the screen is small compared to other competitive Android flagship devices and nowadays, 5 inch screen has almost become a norm. According to Apple, the iPhone 5s is the first smartphone in the world to be powered by a chip with a 64-bit architecture, instead of the 32-bit chip used in most smartphones. This chip will enable it to run applications and play games at speeds twice as fast as the iPhone 5. The iPhone 5s includes a separate chip, called the “M7 Motion co-processor”, which can track motion data continuously without heavily draining the battery.
The most significant feature of the iPhone 5s is the Touch ID fingerprint identity sensor, which is integrated with the phone’s Home button, to unlock your phone and gives you added security. Besides unlocking, fingerprint recognition can be used for approving purchases from iTunes Store, the App Store, and the iBooks Store.
The iPhone 5s is equipped with 8 MP camera, with larger pixels and a larger aperture, which helps capture more light. This camera will be better at capturing light, which should translate into better photos indoors and other low-light settings. The new camera also has a dual flash, which Apple calls True Tone. The flash fires two bursts of lights at once, each slightly different in colour. The iPhone will adjust the combination of the two automatically to bring out more natural skin tones and other colors in images.
The Siri virtual assistant has refreshed, too. You’ll be able to choose a male voice, not just a female one as is currently the case.
The iPhone 5s claims to offer up to 10 hours of talk time on 3G and standby time of 250 hours.The new iPhone 5s will run on latest iOS 7 OS.
Apple wil provide its iWork package of apps — Pages for word processing, Numbers for spreadsheets and Keynote for presentations — for free. The apps were $10 each. Apple is also making the iPhoto and iMovie apps available. Those were $5 each.
The iPhone 5s will be available in gold, silver, and space gray colours.
It is priced at $ 749 for 16 GB and $849 for 32 GB variants, for its unlocked versions.
The iPhone 5S and 5C are expected to arrive in India by second week of October.
