It appears that it has become a norm now to come out with mini versions of flagship smartphones. This tradition was set in motion by the industry leader Samsung. Samsung was the first company, which introduced Galaxy S4 mini version based on their successful Galaxy S4 smartphone. After that the other smartphone vendors like HTC brought HTC One mini and Sony came out with Xperia Z1 Compact. It appears that now the stage is set for LG to experiment with mini versions and as per latest rumors, we can see shortly LG G2 mini smartphone.

The rumor mills have started churning out various probable specifications of the upcoming mini version of LG G2. As per speculations doing the round, the supposed LG G2 mini may have 4.7 inch display. This screen size of LG G2 mini would be bigger than Galaxy S4 mini, HTC One mini and Xperia Z1 compact, which are equipped with 4.3 inches screens.
LG G2 mini is also specualted to be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 processor, coupled with 2GB RAM and 8GB/16GB of internal storage. It may be equipped with an 8MP rear camera and will run on Android 4.4 KitKat operating system. It is going to be packed with powerful 3000mAh removable battery, and will include Bluetooth, WiFi, and GPS connectivity options. This phone will be sleek,stylish in designs and may be available in vibrant colors.
Since the rumors have started flaoting, one thing is sure that something is cooking-up in LG and how soon this become reality, can be any body’s guess. But, one thing is absolutely sure. LG is unveiling its next flagship device LG G Pro 2 on 13th Feb in Korea.
