Besides LG G Pro 2, which was officially unveiled on 13th Feb in Korea, LG will also be showcasing their entry-level L series III smartphones – L40, L70 and L90, at the upcoming Mobile World Congress in Barcelona. These smartphones run on the latest Android KitKat 4.4 OS, and are targetted for the emerging markets.
These smartphones have mediocre specifications and come in screen sizes of 3.5, 4.5 and 4.7 inches and are powered by 1.2 GHz Dual-Core processor. The L Series devices sport LG’s distinctive minimal design. LG is introducing Quick Window smart covers for the L Series III smartphones, which will be available in three vibrant colors. Quick Window cover will offer functional benefits besides protection from drops and bumps, as the see-through window will allow users to see who’s calling and check the time without opening the cover.

We’re confident that the L Series III will be a strong volume driver in 3G markets.”
LG has not revealed the prices of these three entry-level smartphones and global roll-out plans. We expect to get these details during MWC.
