Samsung Electronics has announced the compatibility of its recently launched Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo smartwatches and Gear Fit wrist band. Now, Samsung Gear 2 Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit are compatible with 20 Galaxy devices, including Galaxy S5, Galaxy S4, Galaxy Note3 and Galaxy TabPRO. There are now 12 Galaxy smartphones and 8 tablets that are compatible with new Gear devices.
Following smartphones are tablets are now comaptible with Samsung Gear 2, Gear 2 Neo and Gear Fit:

Samsung Gear 2 and Samsung Gear 2 Neo smartwatches run on Samsung’s own Tizen Operating Systems. The new Gear 2 has 2.o Mega Pixel Auto Focus camera fixed to the main body instead on strap. There is no camera for Gear 2 Neo. Both of these smartwatches feature 1.6” Super AMOLED (320×320) display, and are powered by 1.0 GHz Dual Core processor, coupled with 512 MB RAM and 4GB internal memory.Both these smartwatches allow users to accept or ignore incoming calls and messages, and provide instant notification options based on a user’s activity and habits. They also offer personal fitness coaching in real time, allowing users to develop a customizable fitness routine and monitor their heart rate in order to improve the users overall well-being.
The Gear Fit wristband is claimed by Samsung to be industry’s first curved, Super AMOLED wearable device for the health-conscious customers. The Gear Fit features a 1.84-inch Super AMOLED display with a 432 x 128 pixel resolution, and comprises of a pedometer, heart rate monitor, and a sleep monitor. According to Samsung, the Gear Fit is more than an everyday fitness band as it keeps consumers up to date with instant notifications from Galaxy smartphones such as incoming calls, emails, SMS, alarm, S-planner, 3rd party apps while consumers are on the move.
