Lava International today unveiled its Iris Pro 30+ smartphone, an upgraded version of the Iris Pro 30 launched earlier this year in January. Iris Pro 30+ is the latest addition to its flagship Iris Pro series, and is priced at Rs. 11,990. This smartphone is available in Black color only and can be bought now from all national retail stores and multi-brand outlets across India. For online sale, it will be exclusively available on Amazon.in bundled with a free 16GB memory card from 1pm onwards on 26th August.
Lava Iris Pro 30+ comes with a 4.7 inch HD (1280×720 pixels) IPS (312 PPI) display. The screen features OGS (one glass solution) that reduces the thickness of the phone and provides a superior touch experience. The screen is protected by the high strength Asahi Dragontrail Glass that is considered to be six times stronger than normal glass. It is packed with a 1.5 Ghz Quad Core Processor (Mediatek 6589 turbo), coupled with 1 GB RAM along with PowerVR SGX544 GPU clocked at 357 MHz. It has 16 GB of internal storage (7.8 GB for applications and 5.5 GB for media content) that is expandable to 32 GB via microSD card.
Lava Iris Pro 30 + sports a 13MP auto-focus rear camera with BSI II sensor having a size of 1/3.2 inch and 1.1 micron Omni BSI-II pixel architecture that helps capture images in low-light. It supports full HD (1080p) as well as HD (720p) video recording and playback. It has features like face detection, four-directional panoramic view and high-definition range (HDR). Additionally, there is a 3 MP Camera on the front for 3G video calling support.
Surprisingly, Iris Pro 30+ runs on Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean out-of-the-box whereas even the low-cost Indian smartphones are nowadays running KitKat OS. On the connectivity front, it is 3G enabled and supports EDGE, GPRS, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, USB and OTG Connectivity.
As was with the Iris pro 30, Iris Pro 30+ is also one of the slimmest phones with just 7.9 mm thickness and weighs just 116 grams. The Iris Pro 30+ is fuelled by a 2000 mAh battery that is claimed to give talk time of 9 hours. Besides, it also supports quad band (ability to function throughout the world) and is equipped with GMS license (Google mobile services).It also comes with inbuilt software functionalities of Flip to mute, face and voice unlock and video picture in picture.

There are a lot of good phones but Lava is really going a notch higher with the Iris Pro 30+. The features that this phone is going to have are making the wait for this phone to be launched really tough. The 1.5 GHz quad core processor is a great addition to any phone and will definitely make this one a really quick with all operations. The 4.2 jelly bean android is not the most recent but is sure to help use almost every latest version of the apps. Both the 13 mp primary camera and the 3 mp secondary camera are definitely a step up from the regular phones in this category. I love watching movies or reading ebooks while commuting, and the 4.7 inch HD screen is just right for these purposes. Definitely gotta check it out guys!

I have been using lava phones since early dis year when I bought iris pro 30. Now iris pro 30+ is launched and I am strongly motivated to purchase. With my pro 30, I have had no such problems like phone becoming hot or hanging or causing problems. I am expecting same level of function from pro 30 + as well. Other motivating factors – 13 MP camera with 3 MP front camera, 1.5 Ghz quad core processor and asahi dragontail glass also. 2000 mAh was there in my pro 30 also and it worked very well so expecting same performance.
