Micromax, the leading Indian handsets maker, has unveiled its first two handsets in the Joy series – the X1800 & X1850. To curtail cost of packaging, these are the first ever phones that come in pouch packaging.
Micromax Joy X1800 and X1850 are priced at Rs. 699 and Rs. 749, respectively. The X1800 is available now and the X1850 will be available in the retail stores in a week’s time.
Micromax Joy X1800 sports a 4.49 cm coloured screen with 128×160 (QQVGA) screen resolution and durable body. It is equipped with a 0.8MP camera and has expandable memory upto 4GB. The device is packed with a 750mAh battery, which is rated to give consumers up to 235 hours of standby. The X1800 has toug and dust-proof keypad. This phone is Bluetooth enabled and comes with FM radio.
On the other hand, Micromax Joy X1850 also has same screen size and resolution as that of X1800. It is fuelled by a 1800 mAh battery, that is claimed to deliver a whopping 25 days of back up. It is also equipped with 0.08 MP rear camera and with 4GB expandable memory, Bluetooth feature, the device facilitates best connectivity at this unique price point. Consumers can also tune into their favorite radio stations and enjoy unlimited music on the go.
Both the phones also come with alarm clock and flashlight.
