The M2 smartphone by US-based InFocus, which was launched last week exclusively on Snapdeal.com, has received tremendous response from the customers in India. Snapdeal claims to have sold 15,000 units of the M2 smartphone in merely three days. It is priced at just Rs. 4,999, and runs on Android KitKat OS. Snapdeal is in the process of filling its stock which were lapped up so quickly.
The InFocus M2 sports a 4.2 inch WXGA (1280 x 768) display at 355 ppi, and is driven by a 1.3 Ghz Quad Core processor, coupled with 1GB RAM, 8GB internal storage, which is expandable upto 64GB. The M2 is equipped with front and rear cameras of 8 MP with auto focus lens, which is capable of clicking photographs with smile, face and voice detections. The Front camera has diffused Front facing LED for brighter selfies and super bright LED on the back camera is for capturing best pictures in even low light conditions.
The M2 supports Dual-SIM and comes with several unique features like Gesture Controls, TV-Direct Mode. It also comes with pre-installed super cool “Meitu-Beauty-FX” app that set it apart by miles from any of the smartphones available in its price segment.
