Taiwanese handsets maker HTC has announced today the launch of its mid-range smartphone in Desire series known as HTC Desire 826 Dual SIM. Priced at Rs. 26,900, this handset will start selling in India by the end of this month. This phone has dual-tone color and dual finish. It will be available in White Birch, Blue Lagoon and Purple Fire colors.
The Desire 826 Dual SIM sports a 5.5-inch (1920 x 1080 pixels) display. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor ( four Cortex A53 cores clocked at 1.7 GHz and four clocked at 1.0 GHz) paired with 2GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is extended upto 128GB via micrroSD card. This phone runs on Android 5.0 Lollipop with HTC Sense UI on top of it.
It is equipped with a 13-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with BSI Sensor and f2.2, 2.8cm lens. It also houses a ultrapixel front-facing camera with BSI sensor, f2.0, 2.68 cm lens.
This phone also incorporates Dual-front-facing BoomSound speakers with Dolby audio and suppors dual SIM. It offers connectivity options of 4G LTE of Indian networks, Bluetooth 4.1, WiFi 802.11a/b/g/n, GPS, DLNA, micro-USB 2.0 (5-pin) port. This phone is packed with 2600mAh battery. It also has accelerometer, proximity, ambient light, compass and magnetic sensors.
