Following the global success of last year’s OnePlus One, One Plus start-up has launched today their highly awaited OnePlus 2 with powerful features. The OnePlus 2 comes with a USB Type-C charging port for paving the way for the adoption of USB Type-C technology, which is the latest in charging and data transfer. Moreover, OnePlus 2 charging cable uses patented technology making the Type-A side reversible as well.
The 64GB OnePlus 2 will be available for purchase with an invite in India starting August 11th for Rs. 24,999/- exclusively on Amazon.in. The 16GB OnePlus 2 with 3GB LPPDR4 RAM will be available later this year. The interested buyers can visit the pop up experience centers in Delhi and Bangalore on July 31st to sign up for an invite or can also tune in to OnePlus India’ social media channels starting August 1st for a chance to get an invite.

The OnePlus 2 has aluminum-magnesium alloy frame with jewelry-grade stainless steel accents, which makes it look elegant. It is solid and durable device with weight of just 175 grams.
It features a full HD 5.5 inch IPS LCD In-Cell display with 178 degrees of crystal clear viewing angles. OnePlus 2 is powered by a 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 SoC, paired with 4GB of LPDDR4 RAM and 64GB of storage and eMMC 5.0 flash memory.
This phone is equipped with 13 megapixel rear facing camera having 6 physical lenses, dual LED flash, and f/2.0 aperture. Its sensor contains large 1.3 µm light-collecting pixels to deliver low-light shots. The camera also incorporates Optical Image Stabilization system and its rear mounted laser technology sharpens and focuses the camera in just .33 milliseconds. It also houses a wide-angle 5 megapixel front-facing camera.
The OnePlus 2 gets its juice from a powerful 3300mAh lithium polymer battery. It is a dual-sim device, which supports two Nano SIM cards with 4G LTE capability.
The OnePlus 2 is equipped with a fingerprint scanner. The users can now wake and unlock the device with one of five stored fingerprints in less than half a second. Additionally, the OnePlus 2 features an alert slider for quick access to custom notification settings. Unprecedented on an Android device, the alert slider can silence the device with a simple click.
The OnePlus will be available in signature Sandstone Black. It will now also be having a range of covers including actual wood built Bamboo, Black Apricot, Rosewood and even Kevlar.
