If you are planning to buy premium Android smartphone then it is worth the wait till 29th September as Google is going to announce two new Nexus smartphones at an event in San Francisco for which Google has sent out an invite to the media. At this event, two Nexus smartphones are expected to be unveiled – one device will be from LG and the other by Huawei of China.
LG made Nexus smartphone is expected to be named Nexus 5X and the Huawei made device is expected to be known as Nexus 6P. Both the devices will run on Google’s latest stock Android 6.0 Marshmallow out of the box and expected to feature USB Type-C connectors and fingerprint sensors.
As per current speculations, LG-made Nexus will feature a 2K full HD 5.2-inch display (1080×1920 pixels . It will be driven by Snapdragon 808 processor combined with 3GB of LPDDR3 RAM and options of 16GB and 32GB of internal storage. On the optics front, it will have a 12.3 megapixel rear camera and a 5 megapixel front shooter. This phone will get its juice from 2700mAh battery.
On the other hand, Huawei-made Nexus smartphone will flaunt a 5.7 inch ful HD Display. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and storage options of 32 GB, 64 GB and 128 GB with no provision of microSD card.
There is not much rumor floating about the camera specifications of Huawei Nexus. But it is expected that the rear snapper could be 16MP and front shooter could be 8MP.
Both the devices will support all 4G LTE networks available so far and in future.
The advantage of having Google Nexus smartphone is that you get stock Android expreience and there are no unnecessary bloatwares which make the smartphone slow and are not of much use. Moreover, you get the new updates at the first instance without any hiccups.
Moreover, this time new Google Nexus devices are also expected to be priced very attractively because of changed scenario when many Chinese companies are becoming very aggressive in their offerings.
At the event, Google is also expected to launch updated Chromecast 2.0 media streaming dongle in variety of colors and new design. It is expected to be updated with number of features such as faster Wi-Fi connectivity, faster playing, multi-room support, improved audio feedback etc.
