Today, Motorola India has launched its flagship Moto X Style smartphone at a small event in New Delhi. The Moto X Style with 16GB variant is priced Rs. 29,999 and 32GB version is priced Rs. 31,999. It will go on pre-order on Flipkart from 14th October.
The Moto X Style flaunts a 5.7-inch Quad HD display with a 515ppi pixel density. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 808 SoC with a 1.8GHz hexa-core processor paired with 3GB of RAM. This phone will be available in 16GB and 32GB internal storage variants, and its storage can be further expanded upto 128GB via microSD card.
The other highlight of Moto X Style is its optics. It is equipped with 21MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and is capable of shooting videos at 4K resolution. It also houses a 5MP front-facing camera with an 87-degree wide-angle for better selfie coverage.
This phone gets its juice from 3000mAh battery, which comes withTurboPower charger for faster charging. This device is also water-repellant and can withstand minor water splashes.
This phone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS and will be updated with the latest Marshmallow OS very fast. It also encompasses Motorola’s own apps such as Moto Voice, Moto Assist, Moto Display, Moto Actions etc. which will be withdrawn once it is updated with Android M as these features are also available on the latest Android M.
The Moto X Style supports 4G LTE network and also offers other standared connectivity options of 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth etc.
The Moto X Style will compete with Honor 7 which has been launched yesterday and is priced Rs. 22,999 and Gionee Elife E8, which was launched today at Rs. 34,999 with Fingerprint scanner and 24MP rear and 8MP front cameras.
To make the offer more attractive, Motorola has also announced various free goodies on purchase of Moto X Style including an exchange offer up to Rs. 15,000. These offers are valid upto 20th October and include 100 percent cashback for 100 customers, Rs. 5,000 off on international holidays by MakeMyTrip, and Flipkart electronic gift vouchers worth Rs. 1,000.
