Google’s high-end smartphone- Huawei Nexus 6P which was launched in India on 13th October alongwith LG Nexus 5X, will start selling in India from first week of November. This device was available for pre-orders on Flipkart and leading Large Format Retail (LFR) stores starting 13th October. According to Huawei, they have received an overwhelming response for Nexus 6P and to ensure a smooth demand-supply cycle, the company will be sending out the smartphones in batches to be delivered to India starting first week of November.
Confirming the news, Mr. P. Sanjeev, Vice President Sales, Huawei & Honor India – Consumer Business Group, said, “We are enthralled by the response to the Nexus 6P and thankful to all the Nexus fans who pre-booked the smartphone. Our supply chain is working on priority to fulfill the demand and the smartphones will be shipped out in batches. The first batch of the smartphone will be available in India starting first week of November. We are working closely with Flipkart and our retail partners on the availability of the smartphones to the Nexus 6P fans.”
The high-end Nexus 6P is priced at Rs. 39,999 (32GB) and Rs. 42,999 (64 GB). It is available in two colors Aluminum (Silver) and Graphite (Black).
Just to remind our readers, the Huawei Nexus 6P flaunts a 5.7-inch QHD AMOLED display having a pixel density of 515ppi with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. Under the hood is Snapdragon 810 octa-core processor, Adreno 430 GPU combined with 3GB RAM and storage options of 32GB and 64GB.
The 12.3MP rear camera of this phone has a Dual-LED flash, f/2.0 aperture4K video recording and slow motion (240fps) video recording capability. It also houses an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. This phone gets its juice from 3,450mAh non-removable battery with Quick Charge, which can provide 7 hours of charge in 10 minutes. For crisp and enhanced audio experience, this phone is equipped with dual front speakers.
The Nexus 6P also incorporates Imprint fingerprint sensor and USB Type-C charger. According to Google, the Nexus Imprint is capable of recognizing your fingerprint in less than 600ms and USB Type-C charger has fast charging feature. It runs on latest Android 6.0 Marshmallow out-of-the-box.
