Chinese brand Oppo, which is known for its good camera quality smartphones, has introduced F series in India and launchd the first smartphone F1 at a mega event in Mumbai. The F1 is selfie centric phone and carries a price tag of Rs. 15,990. Oppo calls this phone Selfie Expert as it has various features on the front camera to make your clicking selfies a great experience. This phone has silk metal back and is available in golden/rose gold colors with support for 4G VoLTE.
The outstanding feature of Oppo F1 is its powerful 8 MP front-facing camera with a wide f/2.0 aperture lens and a 1/4-inch sensor. The front camera is capable of capturing images clearer and brighter than a standard 5MP thanks to Oppo’s technology of Pure Image 2.0+ photography and Beautify 3.0 feature. Moreover, with Oppo’s patented Screen Flash technology, it is possible to get good results of those snaps of selfies shot in low-light conditions. The quality of rear camera of this phone will also mesmerise you. The F1 features a 13 MP rear camera with an ISOCELL sensor, phase detection autofocus (PDAF) with a focus time of just 0.1s. We have tested this feature in demo zone and are quite convinced with this feature. This phone also has anti-shake optimization feature which enables the camera to automatically select the clearest image from a huge buffer of image data the moment the shutter button is pressed.
From the design perspective, the body of the F1 is made of a metal alloy and looks quite impressive to hold. It features a 5-inch 720p display with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 616 series Octa-core processor combined with 3GB RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which is expandable to 128GB via microSD card. This phone is packed with 2500mAh battery.
This is Dual-SIM phone and runs on Color OS 2.1 of Oppo based on Android 5.1.
The other interesting plus point of Oppo F1 is that like other Oppo phones, this phone also carries 30-days replacement gurantee and 24-months warranty. Oppo is banking on offline sales and announced expansion of offline sales outlets to 35,000 and target of 180+ service centers across the country for providing efficient after sales service to its customers.
Oppo also announced high -speced F1 Plus phone with a 5.5 inch FHD Screen, 4GB RAM with more advanced features on the camera. This phone will be available in April at Rs. 26,990.
