Lenovo is launching tomorrow Vibe K5 Note at an event in New Delhi, which will be sold exclusively by Flipkart. This is the first time that Flipkart has tied-up with taxi aggregerators, Ola Cabs to help its users to experience K5 Note befor buying it.
This smartphone will be available for preview at the customer’s doorstep within 3-4 mins of requesting an Ola Prime cab.
This campaign will be rolled out in five cities- Mumbai, Delhi, Chennai, Bangalore and Pune starting August 1st, 2016. Customers booking a ride with Ola Prime on August 1st and 2nd, can unlock a new category on the Ola’s App “VR-RIDE” on August 3rd, while customers taking an Ola Prime ride on August 3rd and 4th, can unlock the category on August 5th and August 6th. This exclusive partnership, will enable Ola Prime customers to experience Lenovo Vibe K5 Note and its AntVR headset between 11AM to 6PM.
The K5 Note sports a 5.5 inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) IPS display and is driven by a 64-bit octa-core, 1.8GHz, MediaTek Helio P10 processor paired with 4GB RAM and Mali-T860 GPU. It comes with 16GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card. This phone is equipped with 13MP auto-focus rear camera with f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, dual-tone LED flash. It also houses an 8MP front camera. This phone gets its juice from large 3500mAh battery.
The K5 Note also incorporates fingerprint sensor on the back and is also equipped with Dolby Atmos powered speakers. The K5 Note will also come bundled with the ANT VR headset.
