Panasonic India has added one more device to its successsful portfolio of Eluga series and launched today Eluga Arc 2 smartphone with decent features. This phone comes in Gold, Rose Gold colors and is priced Rs. 12,290.
From the design perspective, the Eluga Arc2 is made of aircraft grade aluminium alloy to give it glitering look. The front and back of the device have toppings of 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass for an elegant look, and is scratch resistance. The device is sleek having thickness of 7.6mm and is also lightweight with weight of just147 grams.
On the hardware front, the Eluga Arc 2 features a 5 Inch HD IPS Display having a resolution of 1080×720 pixels with a 2.5D curved Asahi Dragontrail glass in the front with On-Cell Touch technology for a fluid touch experience. The display of this phone claims to have 500nit brightness for good outdoor readability. This phone is powered by Mediatek, 1.3 GHz Quad Core processor supported by 3 GB RAM and 32 GB Internal memory which is expandable up to 128 GB by using a microSD card. This phone is packed with 2450 mAh battery.
On the imaging front, this phone is armed with an 8 MP rear camera with LED Flash and 5 MP front camera. This phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Android-For-Work functionality for enhanced security & BYOD usage.
This is Dual SIM (Hybrid dual SIM support for4G/3G+2G) phone and also offers connectivity options of 4G LTE with VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, Wi-Fi Direct & Micro USB 2.0. It also provide support for USB On-the-Go (OTG), and features Panasonic’s new Turbo download feature – which combines Wi-Fi and Data for quicker download. This phone also incorporates Light Sensor, Proximity sensor, Accelerometer and IR blaster.

At the launch event, Panasonic informed that in the last four months, they have launched around 12 smartphones and in the coming months, they will be launching another 8 to 10 phones for the upcoming festive season.
