Reliance Retail today launched LYF F1 smartphone for delivering enhanced experience over advanced 4G network. This phone is priced Rs. 13,399 and is available in stores across the country.
Equipped with carrier aggregation (CA) support, LYF F1 is designed to tap the fullest potential of Jio, the world’s largest all-IP network. The CA technology gives users vastly improved data transfer rates and unmatched browsing experience. This feature is known to boost battery life as claimed by the company.
It also comes equipped with Rich Communication Services – a set of evolved Messaging services and enriched calling features. The evolved Messaging feature, an enhancement of the existing SMS feature on LTE network, allows group chat, file and location sharing, and much more through the good old SIM-based messaging. Enriched calling lets the user set context to a call by adding location, image, urgency and customised message, adds the statement of the company.
On the hardware front, the LYF F1 sports a 5.5 inch full HD IPS display (1920×1080 pixels resolution, 400ppi) with Corning Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It incorporates built-in video player which helps you view two videos on one screen and Smart Play display feature that pauses your video the moment you look away from the screen.
Under the hood is Snapdragon 617 octa-core, 64 Bit processor armed with 3GB RAM and 32GB of internal storage extendable to 128GB via microSD card. This phone is packed with 3200mAh battery.
It is loaded with a 16 MP rear camera with multi-focus mode, phase detection auto-focus and electronic image stabilisation that allows steady video recording while in motion. It is also mounted with 8MP front camera with auto-focus for selfies.
This phone comes with Smart Ring technology that helps you trace your phone even when in silent mode.
This phone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS. It offers connectivity options of Dual-SIM (Micro + Nano) with separate SD card slot, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth v4.1, USB 2.0, OTG support and GPS. It comes with Gyroscope, Ambient Light, Accelerometer, Proximity sensors and E-Compass.
