Western Digital has launched today SanDisk 256GB Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card and SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0. These high capacity mobile solutions are for Android based smartphones and tablets.
The 256GB SanDisk Ultra microSDXC UHS-I card is claimed to be capable of storing more than 24 hours of Full HD video and has transfer speeds of up to 95MB/s.
The new SD card is waterproof, temperature-proof, shock proof, and X-ray proof. It is compatible with the SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android to enable users to manage and back up content on their device. The app is available for free through the Google Play Store.
This will initially be available exclusively on Amazon from December, 2016 onwards at Rs.13,390 and subsequently will be rolled out to other E-tailers and retailers in a phased manner.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0, is a flash drive which enable Android users of smartphones and tablets to transfer files between their device and a laptop computer or deskptop via OTG (On-The-Go) USB support.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 features a new retractable design with both a micro-USB and USB 3.0 connector with speeds up to 150MB/s, making it super-fast when transferring files.
The SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 flash drive is compatible with the SanDisk Memory Zone app for Android devices to enable users to manage and backup of their personal data and for faster transfers to the SanDisk dual drives.
SanDisk Ultra Dual Drive m3.0 comes with 5-year warranty. It is available on Flipkart in 16GB, 32GB, 64GB and 128GB capacities at MRP of Rs.650, Rs.950, Rs.1650 and Rs.3600 respectively.
