Sony Rolls Out Android 7.0 Nougat Update for Xperia X

Sony Xperia X smartphone which was launched in India in the month of May with Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS has started getting 7.0 Nougat update in phased manner.

Some of the new features of Android 7.0 Nougat Update for Xperia X are listed below:

· Multi-window support – multitasking made easy; you can now run two apps simultaneously and double tap to switch between each

· Longer battery life – you will now get improved battery life powered by Google & Sony Xperia

· Messaging – more ways to tell your story with the latest Messaging app, enabling you to share videos and audio with a few taps

· Manual camera settings control – all-new manual focus and shutter speed controls (similar to Xperia XZ), now available for Xperia X

Just to remind our viewers, the Xperia X features a 5 inch full-HD (1080×1920 pixels) Triluminos display. It is driven by Qualcomm Snapdragon 64-bit Hexa-core 650 processor combined with 3GB of RAM and 32GB inbuilt storage, expandable to 200GB via microSD card. It is equipped with a 23 MP rear camera with an f/2.0 aperture and a 1/2.3-inch Exmor RS sensor. The rear camera has pulse LED flash and predictive hybrid autofocus. This phone houses a powerful 13 MP front camera with an f/2.0 aperture for taking selfies. This phone is packed with 2620mAh battery. This phone also incorporates fingerprint sensor on the home button.
