Acer has launched today world’s thinnest convertible notebook – Acer Spin 7 in India. This convertible device comes with 360° hinges which enable it to use as a laptop or a tablet. It also offers a tent mode that enables browsing, socializing, watching movies on the go.
On the design front, this device has all-aluminum uni-body design. It has matte black chassis with polished silver hinges and diamond-cut edges around the touchpad to give it very elegant look. It has fanless design which makes it the thinnest and lightest having weight of just 1.2 kgs.
The Spin 7 has thickness of 10.98 mm and features a 14-inch Full HD IPS display with Corning Gorilla Glass protection. It incorporates the Acer Color Intelligence software for a vivid and brilliant viewing experience.
It runs on Windows 10 platform and is powered by 7th Generation Intel Core processors combined with 8 GB LPDDR3 RAM and 256 GB SSD storage. Its battery is claimed to provide 8 hours of life.
This device offers features of fast wireless 802.11ac WiFi connectivity, Dual USB 3.1 Type-C ports for quick data transfers, connection to an external display, and to charge the notebook. It is equipped with Dolby Audio Premium and Acer TrueHarmony for an immersive audio output. It also comes with an HD webcam with HDR (High Dynamic Range) imaging support for clear, bright and detailed images.
