Timex, one of the world’s largest watch manufacturer in collaboration with an Indian consumer technology start-up Blink has launched today Timex Blink activity tracker which combines signature elements of a contemporary traditional watch with sophisticated modern technology for tracking your daily activities.
This activity tracke uses Bluetooth technology to connect with your phone and track all day activity – steps, distance, calories, sleep and gives the battery back-up of 10 days. It constantly tracks your activities and measures exactly how much workout you have done and provides updates everyday so you know how beneficial they are. The USP of it is the ability to send instant mail, SMS and save emergency contacts with the user’s GPS Location in case of an emergency.
It has sleek 0.9 OLED display and battery backup of 7 to 14 hours without a use of special dock or connector. A simple micro USB cable is required for charging. It shows you the number of steps you’ve walked, the number of calories burnt, and the number of minutes or hours you work out. The band is compatible with both iOS and Android devices.
It comes in three different case colors – Black SS, Silver SS and Rose Gold SS and each variant is available with Stainless Steel 304 L cases, premium leather and silicone strap options which are very easy to change. As an introductory offer, every box of the device comes with a complimentary Silicone sport strap so that the user can pick and choose her/his style.
