Coolpad has launched today two affordable smartphones in India which run on Android Nougat 7.1. These two smartphones are Coolpad A1 and Coolpad Mega 4A which will be available from 12th April 2018 onwards only at 3000 multi-brand stores across 8 states: Delhi NCR, Haryana, Telangana, Karnataka, Tamil Nadu, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh and Maharashtra. These phones will not be available via online channels. Coolpad A1 has been priced at Rs 5,499 whereas the Coolpad Mega 4A is priced Rs. 4,299. Both the phones will be available in gold colour only.
On the specifications front, the Coolpad A1 is equipped with an 8- megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front camera. It comes with a 5.0-inch Full HD display (1280 x 720 pixels). It is powered by Snapdragon 210, 1.1 GHz Quad core processor mated with 2GB RAM and an internal memory of 16GB which can be extended upto 64GB. It is packed with a 2500mAh battery which gives 240 hours of stand up time. It has light sensors and proximity sensors and for connectivity, it provides options of 2G, 3G and 4G, WLAN 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.0.
Coolpad Mega 4A is equipped with a 5-megapixel back camera and 2-megapixel front camera. It has a 5.0-inch Full HD display. It is powered by Spreadtrum 1.3 GHz Quad core processor combined with 1GB RAM and 16GB ROM. It has 2000 mAh battery which gives 150 hours of stand-up time.
