Taiwanese giant Asus has launched today Zenfone Max Pro at an event in New Delhi. Highlights of this phone is its Full Hd+ Full View Display with narrow bezels, massive 5000mAh battery and Dual Rear Camera set up. This phone comes in two variants of 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage which is priced Rs. 10,999 and 4GB PLUS 64GB variant is priced at Rs. 12,999. This phone will go on sale exclusively on Flipkart from 3rd May and will be available in Meteor Silver and Deepsea Black colors.
On the specifications front, this phone sports a 5.99 inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) Full-View Display with screen to body ratio of 85% and an aspect ratio of 18:9. It is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 636
64-bit octa-core CPU (8 x Kryo 260 cores) mated with Adreno 509 GPU. It comes with two options of 3GB LPDDR4 RAM and storage options of 32GB EMCP and 4GB LPDDR4 RAM with
64GB EMCP of internal storage and internal storage of both the variants can be extended upto 128GB via microSD card. The other plus point of this phone is that it has triple slot tray, which accommodates two SIMs and 1 Micro SD card.
On the optics front, this phone is mounted with two rear cameras. The primary camera has 13MP sensor with F2/.2 aperture, 80 degree view angle lens with soft LED flash and Phase Detection AF. The secondary 5MP camera is for depth sensing and for accuarate bokeh effects. The rear camera is also capable of upto 4K UHD (3840 x 2160) video recording. For selfies, this phone has an 8MP camera with F2/0 aperture and 85.5 degree view angle lens and LED flash. Bokeh effect feature is also available on front camera.
On the audio front, this phone is packed with s 5-magnet loudspeaker with NXP Smart Amplifier technology. This phone comes with Max-box amplifier which boosts the audio experience.
This phone has fingerprint sensor on the back and Face Recognition feature will be added shortly via an update. This phone runs on a pure, stock Android Orea 8.1 and you will not witness any bloatware which enhances its performance and smooth operation.
For connectivity, this phone offers options of 4G VoLTE, WLAN 802.11 a/b/g/n, 2.4GHz with Wi-Fi Direct
Bluetooth 4.2 (with aptX), GPS, AGPS, GLONASS. This phone has Metal body with 2.5D contoured display glass panel and weighs 180grams.
At the launch event, Flipkart has announced ‘Complete Mobile Protection’ plan and buyers of Zenfone Max Pro will get comprehensive coverage of after sales service with doorstep pick up and drop service at a special introductory price of Rs. 49. Asus has also announced Vodafone offers with benefits up to Rs.3200. Offers include, Free additional data, Free Red Sheild Device security plan for 2 years.
