Realme, sub-online brand of Oppo, has launched today their second smartphone in India, known as Realme 2. The USP of this phone is its Notch Full Screen, Dual rear cameras and massive 4230mAh battery. This phone comes in two variants of 3GB RAM + 32GB of internal storage which is priced Rs. 8990 and 4GB RAM+64GB of internal storage which is priced Rs. 10,990. Both the variants will be available in Diamond Red, Diamond Blue and Diamond Black colors. The Diamond Black and Diamond Red will be exclusively available on Flipkart from September 4th, 12 noon onwards whereas the Diamond Blue will be available by early October this year.
On the design front, Realme 2 has Diamond-cutting back panel and its body is made up of 12-layer nano-tech composite material which is also scratch-resistant.
On the specifications front, this phone sports a 6.2-inch display with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection and an aspect ratio of 19:9 having resolution of 1520 x 720 pixels. Its screen-body ratio reaches up to 88.8% which is one of the highest in its price segment. This phone is powered by 1.8GHz Octa-Core Snapdragon 450 processor with Adreno 506 GPU. This phone has triple slots – two for 4G LTE SIM cards and dedicated slot for microSD card for extending the internal storage of both the variants to 256GB. This phone runs on ColorOS 5.1 based on Android 8.1 Oreo. This phone is packed with 4230mAh battery with AI Power Master, which can smartly allocate processor resources for running and in-background apps and reduces overall power consumption to 5%-11%, without compromising normal APP operation as claimed by the company.
For imaging this phone is mounted with 13MP rear primary camera with LED flash, f/2.2 aperture, PDAF, Bokeh effects and secondary 2MP camera with f/2.4 aperture. For selfies, this phone is equipped with 8MP front camera, f/2.2 aperture with AI feature which intelligently recognises 296 facial points and accordingly gives customized beauty effects, even for the body and group selfie.
For security, this phone has Fingerprint sensor on the back, face unlock and Smart Unlock feature which can be automatically unlocked with your customized settings. This phone offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS etc.
