At an event in London, Honor, sub-brand of Huawei has unveiled three devices – Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro and Honor 20 Lite. These phones will be launched in India on 11th June.
The Honor 20 and Honor 20 Pro sports a all-view FHD+ display of 6.26-inch (2340×1080 pixels, 412PPI). The display has 19.5:9 aspect ratio and 91.7 percent screen to body ratio. Both the phones are powered by HUAWEI Kirin 980 octa-core processor with Dual-NPU. The Honor 20 comes with 6GB LPDDR4x RAM with 128GB UFS 2.1 storage whereas the Honor 20 Pro is packed with 8GB LPDDR4x RAM with 256GB UFS 2.1 storage. The Honor 20 Pro gets its juice from a 4,000mAh battery with a 22.5W charging whereas the Honor 20 has 3,750mAh battery with 22.5W charging.
In the photography department, the Honor 20 Pro is armed with four rear cameras of 48MP with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.4 aperture, AI Image Stabilization, Optical Image stabilization, EIS, PDAF, AIS Super Night mode, secondary camera of 16MP sensor with f/2.2 aperture, 117-degree super wide angle, telephoto sensor of 8MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture, 3x lossless optical zoom, 5x hybrid zoom, 30x digital zoom, OIS, PDAF and Laser auto focus and 2MP sensor with f/2.4 aperture for 4cm macro photography. Honor 20 also has four cameras of 48MP with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.8 aperture, 16MP 117-degree Ultra Wide Angle lens, 2MP with f/2.4 aperture and fourth camera of 2MP with f/2.4 aperture. Both the phones have 32MP front shooter with f/2.0 aperture and feature of 3D Portrait Lighting.
Both the phones have side-mounted fingerprint sensor. For connectivity, these phones offer options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac, Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS, USB Type-C port. These phones also have features of Virtual 9.1 Surround Sound powered by Huawei Histen 6.0 and Dual-microphones. Both the phones have Dynamic Holographic Design and when light passes through the prisms in the depth layer, light is reflected and refracted in all directions.
The Honor 20 Lite features a 6.21 inches FHD+ display and is powered by Kirin 710 octa-core processsor combined with 4GB RAM, 128GB ROM. It is packed with 3400mAh battery. This phone is equipped with three rear cameras of 24MP(f/1.8) +8MP(f/2.4) +2MP(f/2.4) and front camera of 32MP with f/2.0 aperture. It comes with Fingerprint sensor, Ambient light sensor, Proximity sensor, Digital compass and Gravity sensor.
All the three phones support Dual SIM and run Android 9.0 Pie with Magic UI 2.1 on top.
The Honor 20 comes in three colors of Midnight Black, Sapphire Blue and Icelandic White. It is priced 499 Euros (approx Rs. 39,000). The Honor 20 Pro comes in Phantom Black and Phantom Blue colors. It is priced 599 Euros (approx Rs. 46,000). The Honor 20 Lite comes in Phantom Red and Blue colours. It is priced Euro 299 (approx. Rs 23,000).
