Hyundai Venue Launched in India starting at Rs. 6.50 Lakhs

Hyundai has launched Venue sub-compact SUV in India at starting price of Rs. 6.50 lakh which goes upto 11.10 lakh dependig upon the variants. Hyundai Venue is sub-4 metres in length and is available in five variants: E, S, SX, SX(O), and SX+.  This sub-compact SUV comes with four major trims with multiple powertrain options in seven exterior colors including three new colors – Denim Blue, Lava Orange and Deep Forest and 3 Dual Tone Options. The Venue will compete with Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza, Mahindra XUV300, Tata Nexon and the Ford Ecosport.

The Hyundai Venue comes with two petrol and one diesel engine options. The Venue is equipped with 1-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 118 bhp of power and 172 Nm of torque. It is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission and a choice of a six-speed manual gearbox. It also has 1.2-litre, four-cylinder naturally aspirated petrol engine that gives 82 bhp and 114 Nm of peak torque and is mated with 5-speed manual transmission. The Venue also has 1.4-litre, four-cylinder, turbocharged diesel engine which is rated to produce 89 bhp and 220 Nm of peak torque. This engine is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.

The Venue is India’s firs connected SUV and gets an embedded Vodafone-Idea eSIM and a cloud based Voice Recognition platform from Global AI company – Sound Hound. The connected technology is called Blue Link and offers 33 features out of which 10 are India specific and includes remote start, climate control, location tracking, SOS alert, Indian-accented English voice assist system and host of other features.

The Venue comes with various other features such 8-inch touchscreen infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto, Arkamys sound system, air purifier, wireless phone charging, wheel air curtains, rear parking sensors with rear cameras, seatbelt reminder, dual front airbags and 6 airbags in top variant, hill assist control, ABS with EBD, electronic stability control etc.

The Venue comes with 3 years/unlimited kms warranty and 3 years of road side assistance.
