Samsung has launched today two budget smartphones in India – Galaxy M01 and Galaxy M11. The Galaxy M11 features hole-punch display design with triple rear camera set-up whereas the Galaxy M01 has a waterdrop-style display with dual rear cameras.
Galaxy M11 comes with a 6.4 inch HD+ Infinity-O display (720×1560 pixels) with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC, coupled with 3GB + 32GB of internal storage and also 4GB RAM variant with 64GB of storage which can be expanded to 512GB via Micro SD. This phone is packed with 5000 mAh battery with a 15W fast charger. For security, this phone has fingerprint scanner on the rear.
The Galaxy M11 comes with triple rear camera consisting of 13MP main camera with f/1.8 aperture, 5MP ultra-wide camera with 115 degree field of view and a dedicated 2MP depth camera with f/2.4 lens aperture and Live Focus feature. It sports an 8MP front camera for selfies.
The Galaxy M11 also comes with ‘Alive Keyboard’ feature which allows users to chat effortlessly using intelligent and meaningful keyboard suggestions in multiple Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi and Telugu.
On the other hand, the Galaxy M01 comes with 5.7 inch HD+ Infinity-V display (720×1560 pixels) with a 19.5:9 aspect ratio. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 processor paired with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can be further extended upto 512GB via Micro SD. It is packed with 4000 mAh battery and face unlock for security. This phone does not have fingerprint sensor. For photography, this phone comes with 13MP primary rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 2MP secondary camera with f/2.4 aperture. The phone also has a 5MP front facing camera with f/2.2 aperture for selfies.
Both the phones support Dual SIM and run One UI 2.0 based on Android 10. Both the Galaxy M11 and Galaxy M01 smartphones come with Dolby ATMOS technology for a surround sound experience. These devices also have the Samsung Health app pre-installed for monitoring your health 24/7.
Both the phones offer connectivity options of 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS, FM radio, Micro-USB, 3.5mm headphone jack and USB Type-C (on M11 ONLY).
The Galaxy M01 comes in 3+32GB variant, which is priced at INR 8999. Galaxy M01 will be available in black, blue and red colours. Galaxy M11 comes in two variants – 3+32GB which is priced at INR 10999, while the 4+64GB variant will be available at INR 12999. Galaxy M11 will be available in metallic blue, black and violet colours. These phones will be available across all Samsung offline stores as well as on Samsung.com and on Amazon.in and Flipkart starting June 2, 2020.
