Xiaomi India has launched today Redmi Note 9 with performance and gaming focussed octa-core MediaTek Helio G85 processor which features two Cortex-A75 cores clocked up to 2.0GHz and six Cortex-A55 cores clocked up to 1.8GHz. This phone is packed with massive 5020mAh battery that is claimed to allow up to 2 days of usage and comes with 22.5W fast charger (available in-box). The type-C charging port of the phone supports 9W reverse charging.
This phones sports a 6.53 inch Full HD+ DotDisplay (2340×1080) with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5. This phone is equipped with quad camera array consisting of 48MP Samsung ISOCELL Bright GM1, 8MP ultrawide, 2MP macro and 2MP depth sensors. For selfie, it has 13MP AI front shooter.
Redmi Note 9 features Aura Balance Design which was introduced first with the Redmi Note 9 Pro series. The 3D curved rear allows for a better hand feel and houses the 48MP quad camera array with the fingerprint scanner beneath it. This phone has 3.5mm headphone jack at the bottom of the frame, and an infrared sensor on top. For safety, this phone has P2i water resistant coating, 4µm pyrolytic sheet, as well as reinforced corners to protect against accidental drops and splashes.
Redmi Note 9 will be available in three colors- Pebble Grey, Arctic White, and Aqua Green in 4GB + 64GB, 4GB + 128GB and 6GB + 128GB storage variants for INR 11,999, INR 13,499 and INR 14,999 respectively across mi.com, Amazon India, Mi Homes and Mi Studios starting 24th July 2020.
