Samsung has expanded its M series and launched today affordable Galaxy M01 Core smartphone in India. This is the most economical smartphone from the house of Samsung. The Galaxy M01 Core runs on Android 10 Go Edition which is lighter OS and has been customised to use less storage for lightweight custom apps. The Galaxy M01 Core comes with several ‘Make for India’ features and at very economical price point to enable users transition from feature phones to smartphones who cannot afford expensive smartphones.
This phone comes withh 5.3 inch HD+ display (720 × 1480 pixels). It is powered by 1.5GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6739 processor combined with 1GB/2GB RAM and 16/32GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 512GB via microSD card. It is packed with 3000 mAh battery. For photography, this phone has an 8MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and 5MP front camera for taking selfies. This phone offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 5.0 and GPS.
The Galaxy M01 Core has thickness of 8.6 mm and comes in stripe design on the back with three colors of Black, Blue and Red. it is priced Rs. 5499 for the 1+16GB variant and Rs. 6499 for the 2+32GB variant. This phone will be available across Samsung’s retail stores, Samsung Opera House, Samsung.com and leading online portals from July 29.
