Samsung has launched today Galaxy M51 which is India’s first smartphone with huge 7000mAh battery. This phone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 730G procesor and comes with 6.7” sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O display and Sony 64MP Quad Camera with Single Take feature.
Galaxy M51 also comes with an in-box Type C 25W superfast charger that is claimed to recharges 7000mAh battery in less than 2 hours. It also has reverse charging and comes with a Type C to Type C cable.
Galaxy M51 comes with 6.7 inch sAMOLED Plus Infinity-O display which is up to 13% thinner and weighs up to 12% lesser than conventional sAMOLED panels. As a result, Galaxy M51 is slim at 9.5 mm and weighs just 213 grams even as it packs in 7000mAh battery.
Galaxy M51 is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 730G Mobile Platform clocked at 2.2 GHz with Adreno 618 GPU. It comes with 6GB/8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage which can be further extended upto 512GB via microSD card.
This phone sports a quad-camera setup comprising of 64MP main Sony IMX 682 sensor, 12MP Ultra-Wide lens with a 123-degree field of view, 5MP Macro lens and 5MP depth lens. The camera has video capability with 4K recording and it supports hyperlapse, slow-mo and super-steady modes. Galaxy M51 has 32MP front camera which also supports 4K video recording and slow-mo selfies. The camera comes with Intelli-Cam features such as ‘Single Take’ with which you can press record at the right moment and Galaxy M51 will capture the footage, up to 10 seconds of it, and then use AI to produce up to 10 different outputs – 7 photos and 3 videos.
This phone has side-mounted Fingerprint sensor and offers connectivity options of Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5, GPS, USB Type-C and NFC.
Galaxy M51 will be available in two colours – Electric Blue and Celestial Black. It is priced at INR 24999 for the 6/128GB variant and INR 26999 for the 8GB/128GB variant and will be available on Amazon.in, Samsung.com and select retail stores from 12PM on September 18, 2020.
