Apple has launched iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max withl 5G having a new design and edge-to-edge Super Retina XDR displays. These phones are protected by Ceramic Shield front cover. These phones are powered by the A14 Bionic chip, the fastest chip in a smartphone.
The A14 Bionic is the first chip in the smartphone industry built on 5-nanometer process. It is claimed to to have the fastest CPU and GPU by up to 50 percent compared to the fastest competing smartphone chips, enabling console-quality gaming experiences, powerful computational photography and great battery life. The A14 Bionic features a 16-core Neural Engine — for an 80 percent increase in performance — that is capable of completing 11 trillion operations per second.
The iPhone 12 Pro sports a 6.1-inch and iPhone 12 Pro Max has 6.7-inch Super Retina XDR display. The iPhone 12 Pro Max offers the largest display ever on an iPhone and the highest resolution featuring nearly 3.5 million pixels for a true-to-life viewing experience. These OLED displays bring HDR video content to life, reaching 1200 nits peak brightness. iPhone 12 Pro models come with IP68 rating to withstand water submersion up to 6 meters for up to 30 minutes, and are protected against everyday spills.
The iPhone 12 Pro is packed with seven-element 12MP Wide camera with an ƒ/1.6 aperture for 27 percent improved low-light performance in photo and video. 12MP ultra wide camera with a 120-degree field of view and 12mp Telephoto camera, great for framing portraits, bringing the optical zoom range to 4x. iPhone 12 Pro Max pro has 12mp, ƒ/1.6 aperture Wide camera with a 47 percent larger sensor with 1.7?m pixels for a massive 87 percent improvement in low-light conditions, 12mp Ultra Wide camera and a 65 mm focal length 12mp Telephoto camera for increased flexibility with closer shots and tighter crops. The camera of both the phones have features of Night mode Time-Lapse, Deep Fusion, HDR video with Dolby Vision, up to 60 fps, and even better video stabilisation for cinema-grade productions. These cameras have LiDAR Scanner which has the ability to measure light distance and use pixel depth information of a scene. This technology is claimed to deliver faster, more realistic AR experiences and improves autofocus by 6x in low-light scenes for more accuracy and reduced capture time in photos and videos. This advanced hardware, combined with the power of the Neural Engine of A14 Bionic, also unlocks Night mode portraits, rendering a beautiful low-light bokeh effect.
For selfie, these phones have 12MP TrueDepth front camera with Retina Flash and 4K video recording at 60 fps.
Both the phones are also packed with built-in rechargeable lithium-ion battery with MagSafe wireless charging solution which provide up to 15W of power and accomodates existing Qi-enabled devices. These phones do not have charger in the box. These phones run on the latest iOS14.
iPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in four stainless steel finishes, including graphite, silver, gold, and pacific blue. IPhone 12 Pro and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available in 128GB, 256GB, and 512GB models. iPhone 12 Pro is priced Rs. 119900, 129900, 149900 for 128GB,256GB and 512GB variants respectively. The iPhone 12 Pro Max is priced Rs. 129900, 139900 and 159900 for the 128GB, 256GB and 512GB variants respectively. iPhone 12 Pro will be available in India, beginning Friday, October 30 and iPhone 12 Pro Max will be available from November 13th. These phones will be available through apple.com/in, Apple Authorised Resellers and select carriers.
