Vivo India has launched today their slim and selfie-focussed smartphone, Vivo V20. The highlight of V20 is its 44MP front camera which comes with Eye Autofocus (AF) advanced algorithm which is claimed to keep the subject in sharp focus by automatically locking onto your eyes, giving clarity to your videos and stills. The front camera is also packed with host of other features such as capabilities of Art Portrait videos, Slo-Mo Selfie Video, 4K Selfie Video, and Super Night Selfie 2.0 with Aura Screen light.
Not only the front camera, the V20 is also armed with powerful triple rear camera set-up comprising of 64MP primary camera, 8 MP MP with 120º wide angle for a wider field of view and the 2MP Mono lens for snapping the subjects as close as 2.5 cm. For low light captures, the rear camera comes with Super Night Mode and the new Tripod Night Mode.
The V20 sports a 6.44 inch AMOLED FHD+ Halo Full View Display. This phone is powered by the 8nm octa-core Snapdragon 720G Mobile Platform combined with 8GB RAM and the 128 and 256GB of storage which can be expanded to 1TB. This phone is packed with 4000mAh battery and comes with a 33W FlashCharge inside the box that is claimed to replenish the battery zero to 65% in 30 minutes.
For security, this phone has in-display fingerprint sensor and runs on the latest Android 11 with layer of Funtouch 11 OS. It offers connectivity options of USB Type-C, Dual 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 ac (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.1 and GPS.
On the design front, the V20 has AG Matte Glass finish on the back with chemical etching which makes it resistant to scratches and its anti-fingerprint coating protects the phone from fingerprint smears. This phone has thickness of 7.38mm and weighs 171grams.
The V20 comes in three colors of Midnight Jazz, Sunset Melody and Moonlight Sonata. It is priced at INR 24,990 for the 8+128GB and INR 27,990 for the 8+256GB variant. It is now available for pre-book and will go on sale starting October 20, 2020, on vivo India E-store, and Flipkart along with all retail stores across India. Vivo has also annoucned various launch offers which are listed on online portals.
Vivo has also announced that they will be launching Vivo V20 SE which is scheduled to be available in India before Diwali.
