Brand Xioami has unveiled a stripped-down version of the Xiaomi 12 smartphone for the global market, which is known as Xiaomi 12 Lite 5G. This phone sports a 6.55 inch (1080 × 2400 pixels) Full HD+ AMOLED display with 120Hz refresh rate having 20:9 aspect ratio, Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection and support for Dolby Vision and HDR10+. This phone is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 778G 6nm Mobile Processor with Adreno 642L GPU and is paired with 6GB/8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB/256GB UFS 2.2 storage. It is packed with 4300mAh battery with 67W fast charging with USB Type-C support. This phone runs on MIUI 13 based on Android 12.
On the camera front, the Xiaomi 12 Lite is armed with 108MP main rear camera which is a Samsung HM2 sensor with f/1.8 aperture supported by an 8MP 120 degreee sensor with f/2.2 ultra-wide and 2MP macro sensor with f/2.4 aperture. For selfie and video calls, it has 32MP autofocus front shooter with f/2.45 aperture.
This is Dual SIM supporting phone and offers various connectivity options of NFC, Dual 4G VoLTE, 5G SA/NSA, Wi-Fi 6 802.11 ax (2.4GHz + 5GHz), Bluetooth 5.2 and GPS/GLONASS/Beidou. This phone has thickness of 7.29mm and weighs 173gms. It has in-display fingerprint sensor. It is also equipped with Dual speakers with Dolby Atmos.
This phone will be available in black, lite pink and lite green colors. The price of this phone starts at EURO 400 for the base model and goes upto EURO 500. Currently, it is on pre-order in Europe and there is no word when it will debut in India.
