Xiaomi has today launched the Xiaomi 14 CIVI smartphone in India. This phone sports a 6.55-inch (2750 x 1236 pixels) OLED display, 120Hz refresh rate with support of HDR10+ and also comes with Dolby Vision and Corning Gorilla Glass Victus 2 protectioin. It is powered by Octa Core Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 chipset with Adreno 735 GPU which is paired with 8GB / 12GB LPPDDR5x RAM with 256GB / 512GB UFS 4.0 storage. It is packed with 4700mAh battery with 67W fast charging.
For imaging, this phone is armed with a triple rear camera unit co-engineered by Leica with a Summilux lens. It features optically stabilized 50MP f/1.63 Light Hunter 800 primary sensor which is supported by a 50MP telephoto camera with 2x zoom, and a 12-megapixel ultra-wide angle camera with a 120-degree field of view. For group selfies, it is equipped with the dual selfie 32MP ultra-wide- & wide-angle front camera, equipped with AI Group Selfie Mode. The front camera has been equipped with autofocus feature so it can better recognize and track faces between two cameras, even when the distance between the camera and the subjects in the photo is increased or the number of people in the frame have increased.
This phone runs on Android 14-based Xiaomi HyperOS and has In-display fingerprint sensor and Infrared sensor. It offers connectivity options of Bluetooth 5.4, Beidou, Galileo, GLONASS, GPS (L1 + L5), NavIC, USB Type-C 3.2 Gen 1, NFC, 5G SA/NSA, Dual 4G VoLTE and Wi-Fi 6 802.11.
Xiaomi 14 CIVI will be available in three colours- Matcha Green, Cruise Blue and Shadow Black starting at price of INR 42,999 for the 8GB + 256 GB variant and INR 47,999 for 12GB + 512 GB, from 20th June 2024 onwards exclusively on Flipkart, mi.com and Xiaomi Retail Partners.
