Brand Realme has launched its econimical smartphone realme C85 5G in India. The realme C85 5G features a 6.8-inch HD+ display with a 144Hz refresh rate and 1200-nit high brightness. The display comes with 90.04 percent screen-to-body ratio and has support for both DCI-P3 and sRGB gamuts. realme C85 5G is powered by MediaTek Dimensity 6300 5G chipset paired with an octa-core CPU and Mali-G57 GPU. It runs on realme UI 6.0 based on Android 15.
For imaging, the realme C85 5G is equipped with a 50MP Sony IMX852 main camera with f/1.8 aperture and PDAF for faster focusing. The camera supports modes such as Night, Portrait, PRO, Street, Hi-Res, Dual-view video, Underwater mode and Cinematic video. Users also get features like slow-motion at 120fps, time-lapse and multi-view video.
The realme C85 5G is the only device in the segment to offer a 7000mAh battery combined with 45W fast charging. It has a slim 8.38mm body and weighs 215g.
The realme C85 5G also introduces the AI Edit Genie, a smart editing assistant designed to make photo and video enhancements quick and effortless. This phone also comes with IP66, IP68 and IP69 ratings, offering strong protection against dust, water, high-pressure jets and extreme conditions. With IP69 Pro-Level water resistance capabilities, it can withstand up to 60 days underwater, resist 36 different liquids and endure hot-water exposure up to 85 degrees, as claimed by realme.
The realme C85 5G will be available in two storage variants and in two colours: Parrot Purple and Peacock Green.
The 4GB + 128GB variant will be priced at INR 15,499 with a special offer price of INR 14,999 and 6GB + 128GB variant will be priced at INR 16,999 with a special offer price of INR 16,499. It will be available on Flipkart, realme.com and across mainline stores, with the first sale scheduled from 28th November to 1st December.
