Airtel today launched its 4G services on dongles, Wi-Fi CPEs (customer premise equipment), 4G Hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles in Rohtak, Haryana. This will enable customers in this city to have fast internet browsing experience with the Airtel’s 4G home Wi-Fi solutions, and enjoy capabilities like high definition video streaming with zero buffering, download 10 movies in less than 30 minutes, upload full holiday albums in less than 5 minutes by uploading 2 high quality photos per second and connect multiple devices without any experience constraint.
According to Airtel, they have bundled the home Wi-Fi CPEs, priced at Rs. 2,500, with a host of affordable 4G plans and are available across select Airtel retail outlets in Rohtak. Apart from home broadband, customers can now also enjoy Airtel 4G on dongles, 4G Hotspots and Wi-Fi dongles. Special demo zones and kiosks have been installed at Airtel Store at Munjal Complex, Near Axis Bank, Sen Bhakt Chowk, Rohtak. A special pack of Rs. 995/- has also been introduced for heavy data (CPE) users which will offer 10 GB of 4G data.

Earlier in April 2012, Airtel had launched India’s first 4G services in Kolkata. Airtel’s 4G services are now available across India including recently launched Ambala (City and Cantt.),Karnal, Yamunanagar, Hisar, Bengaluru, Pune, Nasik, Nagpur, Aurangabad, Mangaluru, Chandigarh, Mohali, Panchkula, Ludhiana, Jalandhar, Amritsar, Hoshiarpur, Phagwara, Kapurthala, Moga, Bathinda and Patiala. Further, 4G trials have been launched for existing Airtel customers in Delhi, Hyderabad, Vizag, Madhurai, Chennai, Coimbatore and Mumbai.
