Amazon India has today introduced Kindle eReader in white color at Rs. 5,999. Just to remind you, the balck color variant of Kindle eReader was launched in India in the month of September last year at the same price-point.
The white colored variant of Kindle eReader differs only in color and it has same hardware and software features which were available on black colored variant. The Kindle White eReader also features 6 inch ( 600 x 800 pixels) touch screen display, Wi-Fi connectivity, 4GB of internal storage and free cloud storage for Amazon content.
Besides above, the new colored version also boasts of features such as weeks-long battery life, adjustable text size, glare free reading even in bright sunlight, X-Ray, Whispersync, instant dictionary look-up and easy access to a vast selection of books.
Kindle e-readers come with instant access to the Kindle Store, which includes over three million books and out of which over one million books are exclusive to the Kindle Store. Kindle offers over 500,000 titles under INR 99 and 1.5 million titles under INR 299. Kindle also offers a subscription service to over 1 million books starting at Rs 199.
The new white Kindle is now available on amazon India website and can also be bought from 680 plus retail outlets in India.
