ASUS of Taiwan has today announced new additions and updates to its highly-successful Transformer Book Series of 2-in-1 convertible laptops at fComputex in Taipei. The new Transformer Book T100HA replaces the best-selling T100 model; Transformer Book Flip TP200 is a thin and light addition to the innovative Flip family of ‘flippable’ laptops; and the award-winning Transformer Book Chi gains a stunning new color option. Both new Transformer Book models incorporate all the latest technology including the revolutionary USB 3.1 Type-C port for easier device connections.
Transformer Book T100HA
The 10.1-inch T100HA features a thinner and lighter aluminum-clad design, with a tablet portion that’s just 8.45mm thin — 20% thinner than T100 — and weighs only 580g, with an incredible battery life of up to 14 hours. It will be available from Q3 2015 with Windows 10 operating system featuring Cortana, the voice-powered personal assistant.
The Transformer Book T100HA is a 2-in-1 device, which can be converted to a super-slim tablet. It is powered by a quad-core Intel Atom ‘Cherry Trail’ processors, up to 4GB RAM, and the latest reversible USB 3.1 Type-C port for improved ease of use.
It comes in metallic-finished lid and in four vivid new color options — Silk White, Tin Grey, Aqua Blue and Rouge Pink.
Transformer Book Flip TP200
The 11.6-inch Transformer Book Flip TP200 is new thin and light addition to the innovative Flip Series, featuring a 360-degree hinge that allows the screen to be ‘flipped’ instantly for use as a powerful laptop, a handy tablet, or anything in between. TP200 will also be available during Q3 2015, with Windows 10 pre-installed, which includes Cortana.
Metallic finished Transformer Book Flip TP200 has an 8-hour battery life. TP200 is also the world’s first 11.6-inch flippable laptop to feature the latest USB 3.1 Type-C port, with its reversible connector design that makes it much easier to connect devices.
Transformer Book Chi
The razor-thin, lightweight Transformer Book Chi Series has an elegant and stylish looks. It comes with exclusive ASUS ThermoMaster technology that takes the performance of its Intel Core M processor to the next level. Chi will also be available in new Crystal Silver color option.
