At an event in Spain, Asus has announced their latest flagship phone, Zenfone 6. The USP of this phone is its rotating Dual cameras of 48MP and 13MP which can be used both as rear and front cameras for shooting selfies. The flip mechanism has been designed in such a way that it can be used in 90-degree position. Another feature of rotaing camera is that it closes automatically in the event of phone getting dropped.
The Zenfone 6 sports a 6.4 inch full-HD+ (1080×2340 pixels) IPS screen with an aspect ratio of 19.5:9, 92 percent screen-to-body ratio with protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 6. The display does not have any notch and the phone is made of metal and glass. It is powered by octa-core Snapdragon 855 SoC, paired with 6GB LPDDR4X RAM with 64GB (UFS 2.1) storage and alternatively with 8GB LPDDR4X RAM with 128GB / 256GB (UFS 2.1) storage which can be further extended upto 1TB with microSD card. This phone is backed by 5000mAh battery with support for QuickCharge 4.0 fast charging.
For photography, this phone is armed with flip cameras of 48MP camera with Dual LED Flash, f/1.79 aperture, 1/2inch Sony IMX586 sensor with features of Laser AF, EIS and second camera of 13MP secondary camera with 125-degree ultra-wide lens, f/2.4 aperture.
This is Dual SIM phone with dedicated slot for microSD card and runs on Android 9.0 Pie. For security, this phone has fingerprint sensor on the rear. This phone has two stereo speakers – one on top and one on bottom.
This phone has connectivity options of 3.5mm audio jack, FM radio, Dual 4G VoLTE,USB Type-C, NFC, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5), Bluetooth 5.0, and GPS+GLONASS.

Asus ZenFone 6 price starts at EUR 499 (approx Rs. 39,000) for the 6GB + 64GB variant, EUR 559 (approx Rs. 44,000) for the 6GB + 128GB varaint and EUR 599 ( approx. Rs. 47,000) for the 8GB + 256GB variant. It will be available in two colors of Midnight Black and Twilight Silver and will start shipping from May 25. It is expected to be launched in India soon.
