ASUS ROG Phone II higher end varaint with 12GB RAM, 512GB Storage will be available in India from 11th December onwards on Flipkart. You may recall that earlier this phone was available only with 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for Rs. 37,999.
To refreshen your memory, ASUS ROG Phone II sports a 6.59” inch (2340×1080 pixels,391ppi) AMOLED True 10 Bit HDR 120Hz refreshed dispay with 1ms response time and protection of Corning Gorilla Glass. The display has Gaming HDR and Video Streaming HDR support feature. This was the first smartphone in India to be launched with Octa-Core Snapdragon 855 Plus processor with Adreno 640 GPU (675MHz). It comes with updated GameCool II multi-level cooling system with a large 3D vapor-chamber which enable the phone to deliver full-speed performance for longer period of time and does not allow the phone to heat up.
This phone has 12GB LPDDR4x RAM with 512GB (UFS 3.0) storage. This phone is packed with massive 6000mAh battery with 30W ROG Hyper Charger which is claimed to charge the battery up to 66% in just 58 minutes. The battery can be charged with any USB Type-C charger and can conveniently charge other devices with reverse charging functionality.
This phone runs on Stock Android 9.0 (Pie) or alternatively with ROG UI. This is Dual SIM phone and comes with in-screen fingerprint sensor.
For imaging, this phone is armed with 48MP rear camera with Sony IMX586 sensor, f/1.79 aperture, secondary camera of 13MP with 125° ultra-wide FOV and f/2.4 aperture. The camera has features of HDR+ Enhanced, Super Night mode, PDAF. Main camera also supports Slo-mo up to 480fps, Panorama, and Pro Mode. This phone has 24MP front camera with f/2.0 aperture and pixel size of 1.8µm. The camera is strategically positioned at the right top side to enable high-quality video streaming while gaming. Both the front and the back cameras support EIS for blur-free videos.
For audio, this phone has been armed with dual front-facing 5-magnet loudspeakers with Hi-Res audio, dual NXP amplifiers and 3.5mm headphone jack, for an immersive sound experience whether you are listening music or playing games on the phone.
