At an event in Taiwan, Asus has unveiled new variant of ZenFone 3 Deluxe which will be powered by newly announced Snapdragon 821 processor which is claimed to be 10 percent faster than Snapdragon 820. Currently, the high-end smartphones are driven by Snapdragon 820. You may recall that Asus had announced ZenFone 3 Deluxe in the month of May to be packed with Snapdragon 820 processor but with the introduction of Snapdragon 821, the company has decided to fit the new chip in the phone.
Rest of the features remain the same. Just to refreshen your memories, the ZenFone 3 Deluxe sports a 5.7-inch Full HD (1920 by 1080) Super AMOLED display. It comes with 6GB RAM and 64GB of internal storage which can be extended upto 256GB via microSD card.
The ZenFone 3 Deluxe is equipped with 23MP rear camera featuring the latest Sony IMX318 image sensor, a large f/2.0 aperture lens, and 4-axis optical image stabilization for high-resolution, blur-free, and low-noise photos in almost any lighting condition. It also houses a 8 megapixel front camera with f/2.0 aperture.
ZenFone 3 Deluxe has a built-in fingerprint sensor on the rear of the phone which is claimed to unlock the phone in just a fraction of a second. This phone runs on Android 6.0 (Marshmallow) with Zen UI 3.0
This phone gets its juice from a 3000mAh battery with fast charging (Qualcomm Quick Charge 3.0) supports. It also has reversible USB 3.0 Type-C port. It offers connectivity options of 4G LTE and other standard connectivity options.
Their are other variants of ZenFone 3 Deluxe with lesser RAM and storage capacity and these are expected to come with Snapdragon 820 processor. All the variants are expected to be launched in India by the end of this month or early August. Details about prices are not available yet.
