ASUS has today announced that its highly successful Zenfone 5, with 16 GB internal storage is now available in India for Rs 9,999. You may recall that Asus had launched Zenfone 5 with 8GB ROM in July, 2014 alongwith other devices at Rs. 9,999. The Asus Zenfone 5 – 16GB is available in four colors — Charcoal Black, Pearl White, Cherry Red, and Champagne Gold.
Except internal storage of 16GB, which is further expandable to 64GB via microSD card, rest of the features of Asus Zenfone 5 remain the same. The Asus ZenFone 5 sports a 5-inch 720×1280 pixel IPS display, and is powered by a 1.6GHz dual-core Intel Atom Z2560 processor with Hyper-Threading technology. It is equipped with 2GB of RAM. It is fuelled by a 2110mAh battery.
The ZenFone 5 also comes with 8-megapixel PixelMaster main camera with image stabilization. This couples a backside-illumination (BSI) sensor and wide-aperture f/2.0 lens with exclusive ASUS PixelMaster technology to capture digital photographs that more than match those snapped by many dedicated digital cameras. It also houses a 2-megapixel front camera or selfies.
