Asus has announced that it has received a tremendous response to the pre-bookings of ZenFone Max in India, which was launched on 4th January. This phone is now available via online and offline retail channels at Rs. 9,999.
The USP of ZenFone Max is its massive 5000 mAH battery which is designed to require fewer charging cycles for making it last longer and more efficient. The lithium-polymer battery, when fully charged, is claimed to offer 37.6 hours of 3G talk time or 32.5 hours of Wi-Fi web browsing or 72.9 hours of music playback or 22.6 hours of video playback. The battery of this phone can also be used to charge other devices. This smartphone is sleek device and has thickness of just 5.2mm.
The ZenFone Max sports a 5.5-inch display with Gorilla Glass 4 protection. It is powered by a Snapdragon 410 64-bit quad-core chipset paired with 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be extended upto 64GB via microSD card. It is also equipped with a 13-megapixel f/2.0 rear camera with laser auto-focus plus dual-tone LED flash and a 5-megapixel front-facing snapper.
It offers connectivity options of Dual-SIM, 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, and Bluetooth. It runs on Android Lollipop 5.0 OS with ZenUI on it.
