Canada based BlackBerry has announced the launch of BlackBerry Classic smratphone with its iconic QWERTY keyboard. This smartphone is the advanced version of BlackBerry’s highly successful Bold 9900. The BlackBerry classic is claimed to have tree times faster browser; has 60 percent more screen space; 50 percent longer battery life and variety of applications are available through BlackBerry World and Amazon Appstore.
The BlackBerry Classic features a 3.5-inch touch screen display, 294 dpi HD resolution with Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is powered by a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon Processor coupled with 2GB RAM, 16GB of internal storage (expandable by up to 128GB via microSD card). It is equipped with a 2MP front- and 8MP rear-facing cameras with enhanced optics and upgraded imaging sensors.
The BlackBerry runs on the latest BlackBerry 10.3.1 OS and is packed with a 2515 mAh battery with battery optimisation software.
The BlackBerry Classic comes pre-loaded with Amazon Appstore. The users can access popular Android apps and games through the Amazon Appstore including Candy Crush Saga, Pinterest, Kindle for Android and Cut the Rope 2. Users can also scan Android apps for malware and privacy issues prior to installation using BlackBerry Guardian.
