Celkon Launches Millennia Epic Q550 With 5.5 Inch HD Display,3500 mAh Battery At Rs. 10,499

Celkon Mobiles, one of the five leading Indian handsets company in the country, today added another flagship model to their Millennia series – Epic Q550. The Millennia Epic Q550 was launched today at an event in New Delhi. This smartphone is priced at Rs. 10,499/-, and will be available at all mobile retail stores across India and also on major e-commerce portals.

Q550 walAs its name suggests, the Millennia Epic Q550 sports a 5.5 Inch HD IPS-OGS Display (1280 x 720 resolution), and is powered by a Quad Core 1.3GHz Cortex A7 Processor, coupled with 1GB RAM and 16GB Internal Memory with expandabl Memory up to 64GB via microSD card. It is equipped with an 8 MP rear camera with Autofocus & Flash. It also houses a 2 MP front Camera for selfies and 3G Video Calling along with HD Video Recording & Playback.

The Millennia Epic Q550 runs on Android Kit Kat 4.4 OS and is packed with powerful 3500mAh battery, which is claimed to last up to 3 days on standby.The Millennia Epic Q550 also supports OTG (On the Go feature), wherein the user can connect a pen drive, mouse or a Keyboard to the phone. This phone has slim 8mm unibody design, and the weight of this device is just 143 grams.

Commenting on the launch, Mr.Murali Retineni, Executive Director-Celkon Mobiles said, “The new Millennia Epic Q550 is truly a model with epic proportions. During the launch event, Mr.Murali Retineni also announced that Celkon would be launching Windows 8.1 based smartphone by the end of this month and Android One smrtphone in the month of January, 2015.

The USP of Celkon is its after sales service infrastructure. The company has 800 service centers across India and out of which, 40 service centers are exclusively run by the company. Celkon plans to add 20 more service centers in the coming months.

Celkon is number one brand in South India in Indian handsets category and also has the privilege to be rated among the five leading mobile brands of India. Celkon claims to sell around 6.5 lakhs phones per month and is quite hopeful that this figure will reach one million mark in the coming months.

Celkon Mobiles is the first Indian company to launch its highly successful Campus A35K smartphone with Android KitKat OS in sub 3K category. They also launched the ultra slim Q455 and Ultra Q500, which are gaming + business phone as part of its festive season offerings. Celkon Mobiles is present in 10 overseas countries including Africa, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Nepal etc. apart from India.
